Company Description
Pioneer Pharmaceutical Company Limited ("Pioneer"), formerly "Hainan Pioneer Pharma Company", was found in August 1993. In 2000, annual sales reached 170 million RMB ($20 million USD) and made it the most profitable private pharmaceutical marketing and sales organization in China. Pioneer is now the exclusive sales and marketing agent for the following products:

Li Xin Zhou (its founder and Chairman) has always emphasized the training of the staff to international standards. This consistent emphasis on training has allowed Pioneer to develop from a small company to one with more than 300 staff, 130 million in assets and offices in 34 cities throughout China. Pioneer also prides itself on also providing an example for other profitable enterprises to contribute positively to the community. In 1997, Pioneer donated 910 thousand RMB to establish a "Primary School of Hope" in Xiantao City in Hubei Province. In 1998, following serious floods, Pioneer and its staff took an active part in donating medicines and money totaling over 1 million RMB. In February 1998, Pioneer moved its marketing and operational headquarters to Shanghai in order to strengthen its ties to the international pharmaceutical community. In other words, Pioneer provides a full service marketing and sales solution (either as exclusive agent or on a contract sales basis).
